This December, the hugely popular Wine & Cheese Club from our sister site in Hove is coming to Branksome with a festive flourish. As the lights glow and the season gathers pace, we invite you to an evening shaped by warmth and the art of winter pairing.
Our festive tasting celebrates the Rhône Valley through the elegant lens of Domaine de la Janasse – one of the region’s most respected family estates. Based in Courthézon and now in the hands of the second generation, the Sabon family crafts wines with precision, depth and a distinct southern charm.
From the supple vibrancy of their 2023 Côtes du Rhône Rouge to the velvety spice of their 2022 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Tradition, each bottle tells a story of place, season and soul – designed to be poured, passed, and enjoyed. Expect wines that pair effortlessly with rich roasts, creamy starters, and the indulgent cheeseboard you didn’t know you needed.
Our expert bar team led by Tom, will guide you through the evening’s pours, sharing the background, balance and beauty of each bottle, alongside perfectly matched pairings from local Dorset area.
