Club Rules
When you visit a friend’s house you are not given a set of rules for how to behave, but if you and your guests want to be invited back you know to be respectful to your hosts values and their home.
Your Guests
We welcome members with three guests any time, no questions asked. If you would like to bring a larger group, please make your request in advance via WhatsApp and we’ll come back asap, based on availability. As this will involve extending the guest allowance, we do require the names of your guests in advance.
No Dress Code
We trust you to know how to dress depending on the occasion. Dial it up for an evening in The Maison Brasserie, or keep it more casual if you’re heading to The Pantry – all we ask is that you make an effort.
Taking Photos
To respect and protect your privacy and our community, we have a strict no photography policy. All guests will be provided with stickers by our hosts for their phone cameras.
We are discreet, you won’t find any photographs on the web or accounts on social media.
Phones & Laptops
We are a social club with a focus on analogue experiences, however, we know you need to stay connected. We trust you’ll use your phone in a polite manner and be aware of the other guests around you, refraining from making Zoom calls. If you need to spend time on your laptop, we ask you to go to The Study where possible.
Pay Later
The best transactions are those of conversation and cheers. If you’re in a hurry, don’t worry, just let your host know and we will charge your credit card on file.
Children & Dogs
We extend our invitation to you and your family, but not every occasion is made for children.
We have a minimum age of 21 in our club, however we do welcome children from the age of five upwards on Saturdays until 8pm and all day Sunday, in The Drawing Room and The Pantry.
We welcome dogs in The Drawing Room and on the Terrace.
Hosted Occasions
Some occasions deserve something special, and we do have spaces available for our members to host a private event.
We are a social club and welcome occasions that fit with our ethos, including birthdays and friends and family celebrations.
Maison Estelle is a place for our members to switch off from work, therefore we will politely decline any branded or corporate events.
An Open Table
We want members to know members and to be able to say hello as you pass on the stairs.
There is a community table at one of our dining experiences every evening. No reservation needed, join alone or with a guest for a spontaneous dinner party with new friends, and we’ll always include an icebreaker on us.
We know you have a full diary, our approach to events will be as in your own home – select and special. Our summer and winter house parties will give you run of house and an opportunity to really connect.
